polyadenylic acid
Polynucleotide chain consisting entirely of residues of adenylic acid (ie. the base sequence is AAAA....AAAA). Polyadenylic chains of various lengths are found at the 3\' end of most eukaryotic mRNAs, the poly-A tail.
